Hello KillerBarbie,

Please, check if you calendar is unlocked. To do that, tap anywhere outside of day buttons. You will see a pop up menu at the bottom. There will be a lock icon in the bottom left corner. Make sure that is says, that the calendar is unlocked. If it is locked, tap on the button again to unlock it. Please, let us know if this helped.

Thank you,iMensies Developers

First of all, I just think this forum is a great addition to the iPhone app and online version of iMensies. It was considerate of you to create a forum for we women to gather at and exchange ideas. Lastly and most importantly, the developers of iMensies set very high standards for their tools, apps, and websites; everything is lovely and simple. This is the best period app ever.

Improvements:

*Articles for adolescents or teen girls on dealing with menstrual issues.
*A menu to track exercise: light, medium, strenuous on the calender (nice, but not necessary).

Hi Melissa!

Thanks a lot for your feedback! We are glad you are enjoying our app and our service. We will be adding even more functions to our app and the website in the near future, so come back frequently to see what's new. We will try to accommodate your suggestions as well.

I would love to write a review of imensies on Itunes. I will create my review today! My username is different on itunes than it is on the forum, but if you see a new review broadcasting the same praises, it will be mine. :)

Sincerely,Malissa
UPDATE: I've reviewed and given it 5 stars.

I really have loved the free imenses app for the iphone, but I now have moved on to Android and would love it if there were a version for that. Is it in the works? I would be willing to help Beta test!

Hello Sue,

Thank you for your feedback! We are glad you found our app and service useful. It's great to know that you would like to continue using our service on Android as well. Right now we don't have any Android apps, but as we develop our service more and more we will introduce an Android app at some point in the future. We hope that you could use our website in the meantime and keep track of your history that way. Once we have an Android app you will be able to sync the information from the website, so the effort won't be lost :)...

Thank you,
iMensies Developers

I second the wish for an android app or at least a mobile friendly web site. I have no love for apple but the iPhone app was great and waaay better than anything currently on the android market.

Site is mobile friendly... except its Flash part . Puffin Browser for iOS works with flash correctly, thus it is an opportunity. Android - it depends on your particular hardware and Android version. Wait for 4.0 release... However, opposite to iPhone/iOS, your phone-vendor will not release Android 4.0 for your phone, and this is how you can feel the difference. Even iPhone 3Gs is up-to-date, while very little number of just released android phones can be easily upgraded with newly released Android OS. Android vendors do not care about you and rather push you to buy a new phone with fresh OS. For us, developers, this situation is as bad as for you. We can not make a version of our apps for every release of android OS and support it. To say nothing about OS-deep-fragmentation (Amazon Kindle Fire).

Hi,
I have used your (amazing!) iPod app for the last 2 years to track my cycles. Now I have switched carriers and have an Android phone. I would LOVE if you could make an android app, as it is inconvenient to access the website from my phone to get and enter info. Is there any plans to make iMensies a dual platform app?
Also, like many women, I tend to spot during my ovulation days. Although it is ovulation and not menstration, iMensies  treats those spotting days like a period, messing up my charts and making it difficult to track and predict my already irregular cycles. Is there a way to record these spotting-due-to- ovulation days w/out it counting as a period? Is this something you could please provide in an update? Thanks for a great app!
I see that the Android issue is already addressed. Here is the deal, I love Apple products, especially as a creative professional. However, many apps that I used on my iPod are available on my Android device, it is possible. Also, the plan and phone w/ Android is less than half the cost of a phone/plan for an iPhone. I use a maximum of 1gb of data a month, less than 800 minutes, and I do need unlimited messaging. For an iPhone, the cheapest price is around $130/ month, because you are forced to pay for unlimited everything. My plan with an Android phone is $80 a month, (for two people) and the phones were free. Android may make it difficult to upgrade, but it doesn't cost me so much that I can't afford to as needed.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your king words about our app! As much as we would like to make an Android app, we just don't have enough resources at the moment to really focus on that, but it remains on our to do list.

When you say that spotting is counted as period, do you mean in the iPhone app or on the website (since the charts are displayed on the website, not in the app)? We'll try to locate this bug, but need a little bit more information....

Thank you,
